Ayla A. Haskell

Ayla Adondra Haskell was born on December 15, 1987 to Earthly and Annette Haskell, Jr. in Columbia, SC. She attended Dutch Fork High School, where she graduated with the Class of 2006. She was a proud employee at Belk's Department Store where she was a Hair Stylist. She loved fashion, music, cosmetology, and traveling.

Ayla passed away in 2012 after a long and difficult battle with Sickle Cell disease and the medical complications the disease brought on. Ayla loved life and was a joy to all of those who were fortunate enough to get to know her. Although her life was often filled with physical pain and doctor visits, she fought through with her infectious smile that touched everyone along the way.

Ayla's life has become a hero for others through this foundation and her story will forever be shared.

"Today I will have an open mind and an open heart!!!"
